Chocolate Cookie
Ingredients:
- 110g 70% dark chocolate
- 30g unsalted butter
- 1 egg
- 55g brown sugar
- 45g all purpose flour
- 1g baking powder
- 1g baking soda
Directions:
1. Melt butter and chocolate in the microwave till completely melted.
2. Whisk egg and brown sugar for 2-3 minutes. It will form a slightly fluffy and foamy pale brown cream like texture.
3. Add in sifted dry ingredients (flour, baking powder and baking soda) and mix until just combined. (avoid over mixing)
4. Chill the dough for about 30-60 minutes in the refrigerator
5. Use a spoon to drop the batter in balls onto your baking sheet, spaced two inches apart.
6. Bake 10 minutes in a preheated oven at 160∘C.
7. Serve warm and enjoy!
